Saw this on a watcher's page and though it was interesting. I've been writing like crazy today this is me taking a break (ironically) lol.

1. ONE OF YOUR SCARS, HOW DID YOU GET IT?
I have a scar on my right thigh that I've had since I was in 3rd grade. I was walking through the cafeteria at school and my leg scraped against a broken radiator vent that had a sharp metal piece sticking out. Don't know how the hell they didn't fix that before it actually hurt someone.
2. WHAT IS ON THE WALLS IN YOUR ROOM?
So many things...
One one wall: a calendar from a Chinese restaurant, a Dragon Ball Z poster, a large photo I took in Paris of some store fronts with graffiti on them, drawings and paintings I made for my girlfriend over the years, self-portrait paintings my best friend from camp gifted to me, some art I made in college, more art from friends and a drawing of a mad-scientist I found in a sketchbook in my living room when I was little.
Second wall: a Pacific Rim poster, Bronx Heroes poster, and a random Marvel poster. Another large photograph that I took in Paris of an alleyway of graffiti and another Dragon Ball Z poster, Spider-Man poster, a drawing from Marvel artist, Alitha E. Martinez, art my girlfriend made from me and another drawing from my best friend from camp.
Third wall: Another Spider-Man poster, a Saga poster, large Death Note poster, more art from my girlfriend, a drawing of Amber from the k-pop group f(x) that my best friend (camp) made for me, a huge wolf poster that my girlfriend bought from Spencer's, more of her art and some animal magazine clippings and a huge Dragon Ball Z wall scroll. An art print I made of my character, Gina, Naruto poster next to a plastic kunai knife and art prints from conventions.

Not necessarily. Some people don't ever find their soul-mates, whatever that term means to individuals. It's possible that everyone will meet such a person in their lives and the opposite is also possible.

Working a book I've been planning on writing since college.

Endless opportunities...I volunteered with a community service program which led me to going camping for the first time and going to places that I would never otherwise be able to go to, getting my internship at the museum, taking college-level art and design courses, at the college I eventually attended, having my hard-work be recognized and going to leadership camp (The NSLC) and meeting so many amazing people including my soul-mate who's family invited me to stay with them in Austria, Italy and Hungary.

I like girls who are really smart and care about social issues, girls who don't just think about themselves. I like girls who don't care about what people think of them and aren't afraid to be themselves. I like girls who are very well-spoken but also sometimes, use slang or rip on people who are assholes.
As for looks, I'm not picky. Aforementioned, I like girls who have dark curly hair, afros or braided extensions. No racial preferences at all. I almost always go for short girls, some girls who are punk or don't dress too girly.

Don't know, to be honest. Whenever I ignored bullies as a kid, they resorted to hitting me or beating me up. So when this one guy was picking on me, I started swinging at him until I caught him in the face and gave him a bloody nose. After that, he left me alone. So is violence the answer? Probably not but ignoring bullies clearly isn't either.

Don't know, to be honest. Whenever I ignored bullies as a kid, they resorted to hitting me or beating me up. So, in my last journal, I mentioned that I was supposed to be starting a summer job but it turns out that the non-profit I work for doesn't have the money to hire me again. So yeah, I'm really broke and up the creek. I'm going to have to defer on my loans, keep asking my mom for money to buy medication and stuff (because I'm also experiencing minor health issues all of a sudden) and I can't take my girlfriend anywhere which is not a vital necessity but also really sucks. So yeah, I'm still taking commissions. I already completed one which is this:

Digital or traditional and I am starting a new system where I will order clients a digital print of the work. I will also ship traditional work to your address. I use paypal to receive payments.
I do NOT do free requests. Unless you want to do an art trade, there are no exceptions to that.

So I have been out of a job since early May. I was working at an art supply store but it was only a seasonal position so now I'm not working there anymore. Also, I was working as a TA for after school programs in the city and now that school is over for the kids, I'm not working there right now either. I have a summer job but it doesn't start for another two weeks and I'm running really low on money. So I've always been open to commissions but I have had someone ask me if I'm open for commissions so just to make it clear, yes, I am open and this is the perfect time to ask me. The prices are listed below in my profile but despite the prices and other information specified, the prices are negotiable. So yeah, get your commissions now before my job starts! I take payments through Paypal only.

Things are getting better

So, I finally found a job (or 2). I am working on Saturdays as a TA for the arts organization I worked at over the summer and I am also working as a TA at a new organization that just recently hired me. That job is Mon-Friday, 3 hours a day. They also have me doing office work here and there so I am basically doing similar work to my work-study job during school.
Also, I started talking to this girl and I really like her so far and we are now casually dating. Nothing serious yet but we've been talking and hanging out and getting to know each other. I guess we'll see where this goes.
I am still pretty broke despite having a job. I still have to pay off my credit card bill, I have to give my mom money for bills, build up my savings and now that I have a learner's permit, I need to pay for driver's ed classes once I have the money. Also, I have student loans to start paying off in January. So not looking forward to that...
I am also freelancing so I haven't had much time to work on my own art so that sucks but I have at least been making money from that while I was unemployed.
I really hope that things keep getting better, though I am always prepared for things to go wrong or not how I planned.

Life Sucks

Not that anyone cares or is going to read this but it's been 5 months since I graduated and I still have yet to find a job. Even if it's just in retail. And then the art supply store that I applied to work at lied to me when they said that they were going to place me at one of their stores. I submitted my portfolio to some animation companies and still haven't heard back. I also submitted a job application twice to a store at the mall in Queens that says that they're hiring and they still haven't called back.
My grandmother AKA my 2nd parent since my father's not involved in my life, died of pancreatic cancer last month.
Also, my gf of one year and almost 5 months broke up with me via text message and I'm so upset and angry that I don't think I ever want to have anything to do with her ever again.
So yeah... life sucks right now...
